The soundtrack is being written by two composers, one of whom has won seven grammy awards.
People have come from six continents to see a few work-in-progress scenes from the film. They have said the nicest things:
"I felt more alive in that moment than I had in a long time. When the lights went up I had no words."
"I feel like a different person. I can't really seem to express what it is I feel except that I know there's a change. It will take me a few days to put it into words - the emotion is so overwhelming. It's like I haven't really seen everything around me until today, and I'm saddened by the loss of all the years I've wasted, and yet relieved I realized what I've been missing all these years just in the nick of time. You know this is monumental."
"All my stress went away, I'll remember these scenes from the film for the rest of my life"
"There was a reverence in Terry’s film that was extremely raw. There is no way you can just sit there and not feel something."
"All those things that are ineffable, impossible to say with words, are expressed in such a way that your body, mind and soul are connected. After the film I felt such a stillness and calm that I didn't want to speak or move. Not sure I can even express in words how it made me feel but I know it will be enjoyed by many"
"I used to have a lot of dreams and I’m going to reclaim those. I am going to dream again."
"Watching his film cut me to the core. It’s not often that I find myself crying over a slowly moving film of ice on a river, but sitting in the semi darkness of Terry’s studio, I found tears welling up behind my eyes."
"I feel better coming out of this viewing than any other film. A sense of peace, because I had been given to rather than taken from."
"My body was electrified, the music of the film filling my entire being. The dried up parts of my soul, the parts that have been bullied into silence, burst open with sharp painful pulses. I could feel my heart beating in every limb, pulsating in my head and in my chest. I was reminded, as I watched the film, of why I wanted to create art."
"Trust me, I am not one to show a public display of emotions but your work was astonishing."
"The juxtaposition of the music was done so well and with such integrity. It was almost as if the music had taken on autonomy and was breathing with the rise and fall of the mist and the running of the water. Well done!"
"One scene looked like golden streams and diamonds."
"The movie sample was as slow as a sunrise, but the beauty of a sunrise is worth waiting for. It disturbed my mind enough to touch my soul."
"Your work is wonderful. The movie is pure beauty."
